ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility Statement.
We want everyone to be able to use the Vision Detection Systems website. This statement explains our approach and how to reach us. Last updated July 2026.
// 01
Our Commitment
- Vision Detection Systems is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
- We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the standard referenced by the W3C and U.S. Department of Justice guidance for public-facing websites.
- Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review new and existing content as part of our development process and work to remediate issues as they are identified.
// 02
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks so assistive technologies can navigate the site.
- Keyboard operability for interactive elements, with visible focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and descriptive labels for controls.
- Color-contrast review against WCAG 2.2 AA thresholds.
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and a range of screen sizes.
// 03
Known Limitations
- The interactive map in our Site Security Designer (/configure) is pointer-driven for placing units and tracing a boundary, so its drawing tools are not fully keyboard-operable. A keyboard-accessible alternative that reaches the same result — a security design and quote — is available via the Guided Setup option in the designer, or the Get Started and Contact forms, where a specialist builds the design with you.
- Some third-party or embedded content may not yet fully meet our target. We are working to address these areas.
- If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please let us know using the contact information below so we can prioritize a fix.
// 04
Feedback and Contact
- We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website.
- If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the site, or need information in an alternative format, contact us and we will work with you to provide the information or service you need.
- We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.
